Novena

Novena to Saint Anne

The Novena to Saint Anne honors the mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary and grandmother of Jesus. Venerated since the early centuries, Saint Anne is the patroness of grandparents, couples wishing to conceive, expectant mothers, and Christian families. Her life of trusting faith and discreet service prepared the earthly cradle of the Redeemer. Throughout these nine days, the faithful meditate on her example of persevering hope, docility to God's will, and maternal tenderness, asking for her intercession to strengthen homes and engender spiritual life in the Church.

Novena

Novena to the Apostle James the Greater

The Novena to the Apostle James the Greater —son of Zebedee and brother of Saint John— commemorates the first of the Twelve to shed his blood for Christ (†44). Patron of Spain and of the pilgrims of the Camino de Santiago, his testimony of missionary zeal and courage invites us to follow Jesus “to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). For nine days, the faithful meditate on his calling, his journey with the Lord, and his martyrdom in Jerusalem, asking for his intercession to ignite faith, hope, and apostolic fervor in their own lives and in the Church.

Novena

Novena to Our Lady of Fatima

The Novena to Our Lady of Fatima commemorates the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to the three shepherd children—Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta—in Cova da Iria (Portugal) between May 13 and October 13, 1917. Her message, focused on conversion, prayer—especially the Holy Rosary—, reparation for sins, and consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, remains an urgent call for the Church and the world. During these nine days, the faithful delve into each aspect of the teachings of Fatima, seeking the intercession of the Virgin to obtain peace, the end of conflicts, the conversion of sinners, and personal holiness.

Novena

Novena to St. Jude Thaddeus

The Novena to St. Jude Thaddeus is a nine-day devotion directed to the 'apostle of difficult and desperate causes.' St. Jude Thaddeus, cousin of the Lord and son of Mary of Clopas, has been invoked since the early centuries of the Church when human trials seem to have no solution. Through this novena, the faithful meditate on absolute trust in the power of God, strength in adversity, and hope that never disappoints, asking for the powerful intercession of the holy apostle. Praying it prepares the heart for his liturgical feast (October 28), renewing the faith that 'for God nothing is impossible' (Lk 1:37).
