In accordance with Article 22 of the Spanish Law on Information-Society Services and Electronic Commerce and the AEPD Guidelines on Cookie Use, we inform you that this website and the “Camino+” app use cookies.


1. Data-Controller Identity

Cookies are small files placed in the user’s browser or device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) while navigating a website or app. They store information about the visit and are used to:

Our cookies do not create user profiles or trigger automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.


3. International Data Transfers

No international transfers of personal data are performed.

Although data from analytical cookies (Google Analytics) may be processed outside the European Economic Area, this is not considered an international personal-data transfer because the information does not identify individual users.


4. Cookie Retention Period

Cookies are stored for a minimum equivalent to the browsing session and a maximum of 2 years, as detailed in the table above. Users may withdraw consent and delete cookies via the mechanisms described below.


5. Managing Cookies in the Browser

Cookies are installed only after the user ACCEPTS them on first visit via an information banner that allows configuration of non-essential cookies.

Users may at any time refuse or customise consent via the Settings Panel or their browser options.

6. Managing Cookies in the Camino+ App

The mobile app includes its own cookie-management panel, allowing you to toggle specific categories without using the OS settings.

  1. Go to Settings → Cookie Preferences in the app.
  2. You will find three switches:
    • Necessary (always on) – Essential for app operation (authentication, security).
    • Performance – Help us measure app usage anonymously and improve performance.
    • Advertising – Enable us to display more relevant ads within the app.
  3. You may disable Performance and/or Advertising cookies at any time. Changes take effect immediately.
  4. If you disable them:
    • App performance may not be fully optimised.
    • Ads will still appear, but they will be less relevant to your interests.
  5. To reset default settings, tap Restore default values in Cookie Preferences.

Preference tokens are stored locally on the device and do not personally identify the user. Deleting the app or its data will reset all cookie preferences.
